BMW M5 DCT
Let us call you back
Acceleration is fairly brutal with the fast-changing seven-speed twin-clutch gearbox happily banging through the gears via paddle shifts, the tacho needle moving quickly indeed at each surge, zinging to the 7200rpm max. Short shifting at around 5500rpm hardly dulls the M5’s enthusiasm either, such is the prodigious torque available from just above idle to 6000rpm. The default stability control mode is a fun killer, intervening way too harshly and early.
The BMW M5 delivers truly epic performance, yet it has the ability to carry four people in sumptuous luxury.
